We have all studied pictures to see if we can copy the dress and jewelry of the people, looked at the furniture to see if we can catch the vibe for our own living space, seen the hanging glass lights in the rooms and skipped them saying “Naah, too vague and impractical”.
So let’s see for ourselves how impractical a hanging glass really is.
Let’s have a look at the historical lamps, their modern day “descendants and cousins” to see if they give us technical clues of how they were made, and let’s see if we can make something that resembles the lamps in the pictures.
Be ready to play with fire. No special skills needed.
What should I bring?
I will bring periodish glass, mundane glass, wire and chain.
There will be some regular wire cutters and pliers (narrow and wider flat nose, round nose).
If you can bring your own that would be appreciated.
Who is the host?
Elisabeth of Polderslot
