To the fencers, their inspirations and all people who come to Double Wars;
Rose Tourney Announcment; may 11th at 10.30
The rose tourney for fencers is on Monday, 11th of May at 10.30 in the Atte List. All fencers, from beginners up to the higher level, are welcome. The important thing is to have at least one authorisation AND to have fun!
Here are the official words;
“Rose tourneys are how we celebrate courtesy and grace. With other fencers, we will meet in the list, for bouts. For each bout, the winner will ask the loser to fetch a rose from the member of the Order of the Rose, to then hand to whomever the winner designates.”
That means if you win, your inspiration gets a rose. Most of the fencers have a consort specially for that tourney. Sometimes people have many inspirations and give their roses to different people. But as I said, very often one consort.
If you have no idea who to ask or if you have more questions, feel free to ask me at the event before the tourney starts. I would be happy to help with answers. Or ask the fencing marshal from Double Wars.
AND the most important thing before, please come to the listfield for armour inspections before the tourney starts. Come in good time! I will be there as early as possible.
